Private Physicians Alliance is a curated network of entrepreneurial, best‑in‑class concierge and direct primary care (DPC) practices, along with the specialists who support this care model. We exist to advance the future of private medicine by helping independent physician‑owners grow sustainable, high‑quality practices while delivering exceptional, personalized care.

Our membership is intentionally selective. Prospective members undergo a rigorous screening process, including interviews and final approval by our Board of Directors, to ensure alignment with our values, clinical standards, and entrepreneurial mindset.

We operate as a lean, high‑trust, fully remote organization. We run on EOS, value clarity and accountability, and prioritize thoughtful collaboration over micromanagement. This role is designed for a senior leader who thrives with autonomy and ownership.

The Opportunity

We are hiring a Director of Marketing to lead PPA into its next phase of growth and visibility.

This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role for a healthcare‑savvy marketer who can:

  • Build and scale a patient‑facing educational platform extending ppa.health into a trusted destination for learning about concierge medicine
  • Establish PPA as the authoritative voice in concierge and private medicine
  • Drive qualified inbound patient and physician leads to our member practices
  • Lead internal content and programming that deeply engages our physician members

This person will own marketing end‑to‑end—from strategy to execution—and will partner closely with the CEO and Board on both virtual and live event programming.

What You’ll Own

External Marketing: Education, Growth & Lead Generation

  • Lead the strategy, build‑out, and ongoing growth of a patient‑ and public‑facing educational platform on ppa.health focused on concierge medicine
  • Define content architecture, editorial standards, and conversion pathways that educate patients and guide them to concierge physicians
  • Own SEO and modern AEO strategy to ensure PPA content ranks, resonates, and converts
  • Build a scalable, content‑led top‑of‑funnel engine
  • Own analytics, conversion optimization, and reporting across the marketing funnel
  • Lead inbound lead generation for concierge practice owners through content, tools, forms, and gated resources
  • Own and steward all PPA social media channels, ensuring a consistent, credible, and timely voice—and thoughtfully leveraging member participation where appropriate
  • Manage and direct external vendors related to website, SEO, and marketing execution

Internal Marketing: Member Engagement & Programming

  • Own content strategy and execution for:
    • Monthly virtual sessions (All Members + Operations Leaders)
    • Member communications including weekly newsletters, event promotion, recaps, and value storytelling
  • Drive engagement within PPA’s proprietary member app
  • Collaborate with leadership on content and experience design for two live events per year:
    • Annual Meeting
    • Leaders Circle Retreat

What Success Looks Like

  • PPA is widely recognized as a trusted, authoritative source for concierge medicine education
  • Strong, consistent engagement with member programming and communications
  • Sustained growth in organic traffic, search visibility, and high‑intent inbound leads
  • Clear, data‑driven insight into funnel performance and conversion metrics
  • A cohesive, credible brand presence across web, content, and events

Ideal Background

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience
  • Demonstrated success in:
    • Content marketing and editorial leadership
    • SEO and organic growth (including modern answer‑engine optimization)
    • Demand generation and inbound lead strategy
  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, membership organizations, or professional services strongly preferred
  • Exceptional editorial judgment and comfort collaborating with physicians, executives, and boards
  • Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing
  • Highly self‑directed, organized, and effective in a fully remote environment
  • Willingness to travel for live events (currently twice per year)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary up to $150,000, commensurate with experience
  • Fully remote role
  • Healthcare stipend in year one
  • Company‑paid concierge physician membership beginning in year two with exemplary performance
