What's Inside

The mechanics of membership.

What members actually use, week by week. Less marketing copy, more "here is the surface and how it works."

The Afternoon Report

Monthly · Live and recorded

Sixty-minute live briefing with a clinical, legal, or operational expert on a topic affecting member practices that week. Past topics: hormone therapy and the WHI legacy, payer rate benchmarking, hiring patient experience managers, structuring partnership equity, navigating state-level DPC legislation.

Recorded and archived in the App. Members who can't attend live get the recording within 24 hours plus a one-page briefing of the key points.

Ops Briefings

Monthly · Second Tuesday

Built for practice administrators, COOs, and operations leaders. A different format than the Afternoon Report: more peer-discussion, less expert-broadcast. Members benchmark on staffing ratios, technology stacks, billing throughput, and the operational decisions that don't show up in physician forums.

Every membership includes ops-leader seats. A solo practice and a 30-physician group have the same ops-side access to this room.

Exclusive Member Offers

Always-on · 14% average savings

Pre-negotiated rates and special offers on the categories every membership practice spends on: medical supplies, equipment, EHR and scheduling, payroll services, marketing services, CME and conferences. Some EMOs aren’t discounts at all, they’re exclusive access to services or vendor relationships members can’t get on their own.

Members access offers through the PPA App's Little Black Book. A practice administrator can pull a vendor list in 30 seconds, see the negotiated rate against the public rate, and decide whether to engage. This is the part of membership that most reliably pays for itself in the first quarter.

Peer Forums + Member Directory

In the PPA App

Topic-based forums where members ask questions and get real answers from people running comparable practices. Topics include: technology, referrals, pricing, partnerships, staffing, longevity medicine, regulatory, real estate.

The member directory underlies the referral routing system. When a patient travels, and concierge patients travel, the network finds a trusted member nearby in the destination city. Referrals are tracked and reported back to the originating physician.

Annual Meeting + Leaders Retreat

Annual · Members attend free

The Annual Meeting at the Vinoy in St. Petersburg, FL is the network's primary in-person gathering. Three days, 220+ attendees expected, CME credits, exhibitors. Members tell us this is the room they would join the alliance for even if no other benefit existed.

The Leaders Circle Retreat is the smaller invitation-only counterpart for Leaders Circle and Enterprise tier members. Different format: less programming, more peer time at the principal level.

Knowledge Center

60+ articles · Categorized · Searchable

Editorial written by PPA members, the editorial team, and physician contributors. Categories include practice strategy, practice growth, practice management, patient experience, and concierge experience. Featured articles get the front of the Knowledge Center; the full archive is searchable.

Members get early access to articles before public release. The Knowledge Center is built to be the institutional memory of the network, the operational answers that have been figured out so the next member doesn't have to figure them out again.

Your First Year

What the first twelve months look like.

The PPA onboarding cadence is deliberate. We've found that members who follow this rough sequence get the most out of the membership in the first year.

  1. Month 1

    Welcome and orientation.

Personal welcome from the Membership team. PPA App access, member directory listing setup, an introductory call with the Membership Director, and an introduction to your account manager. First Afternoon Report attendance. The Little Black Book opens, most members find one or two Exclusive Member Offers worth pursuing immediately.

  2. Months 2-3

    First savings hit the books.

Members typically convert two or three Exclusive Member Offers in the first 60 days, usually supplies and one operational software category. The 14% average savings number is built from this cadence; the math starts working before the first quarterly invoice.

  3. Months 4-6

You start to recognize the network.

By month four, most members have attended ten or more Afternoon Reports and have started asking questions in the forums. The Member Directory becomes a useful tool, members report their first peer referral, vendor introduction, or "I had the same problem, here's what we did" exchange in this window.

  4. Months 6-9

    You attend the Annual Meeting.

Most members tell us the Annual Meeting is when the membership "clicks." Three days in a room with 220+ owners who are running variants of the practice you're running. The relationships made at the Annual Meeting tend to be the durable ones, they're who members call when they have a hard decision.

  5. Months 10-12

    Renewal becomes the easy decision.

By the end of year one most members have recouped their dues in negotiated-rate savings alone, made two to three peer relationships they consider durable, and gained access to one or two operational answers they were unable to find anywhere else. The 98% annual renewal rate is a math problem with a clear answer.
