Cookie policy

Last updated: May 30, 2026

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. The Private Physicians Alliance uses a minimal set of cookies on ppa.health to operate the site and understand how visitors use it. We do not sell cookie data or share it with advertisers.

Categories of cookies we use

  • Essential cookies. Required for the site to function. These cover session state, basic security, and load-balancing. The site cannot work properly without them, and they don’t require consent.
  • Functional cookies. Remember low-stakes preferences like menu state or whether you’ve dismissed a banner. No personal identification.
  • Analytics cookies. When Google Analytics 4 is enabled, anonymized cookies help us understand traffic patterns — which pages members and prospects read, how they got here, what we should improve. IP addresses are anonymized; we don’t use this data to identify individuals.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on ppa.health.

Third-party cookies

Some cookies may be set by the third-party services we use to operate the site:

  • Vercel (hosting) — load-balancing and performance cookies.
  • Google Analytics 4 (analytics) — anonymized session and traffic cookies.

Embedded content (e.g. a YouTube or Vimeo video, or a Calendly widget) may set its own cookies if added to a page in the future. We disclose those at the point of embed.

Your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking essential cookies will degrade some site functionality. You can also use a private browsing window to limit persistent cookies.

To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Changes

We may update this policy as the cookies we use evolve. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any change.
