What does a concierge physician do for you?

A concierge physician looks after a smaller number of patients than a typical practice, so there is more time for each person. In return for a membership fee, patients usually get longer appointments, easier access to their own doctor, and care that is focused on keeping them well, not only on treating illness.

    A direct line to your own physician’s practice, and often same-day or next-day visits when something comes up.

No. Membership fees vary widely from one practice to the next. Some models are priced for a premium service, and others are built to be affordable as a flat monthly fee. The best way to know is to ask a practice near you what membership costs and what it includes.
