About Barry Rotman.
Dr. Barry Rotman is the founder of Banner Peak Health in Walnut Creek, California. He received an undergraduate degree in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco and completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of California, Davis.
He completed fellowship training in health services research at Stanford University and the Palo Alto VA.
In 2007 he founded his own concierge medical practice so he could practice medicine to his fullest potential. He has since grown the practice to include other like-minded physicians committed to the highest level of care for their patients.
He is passionate about blogging and patient education. He chairs the Private Physicians Alliance Technology and Innovation Committee, working collaboratively to evaluate and implement the latest advances in medical care.
Outside of practice, Dr. Rotman enjoys being outdoors, hiking, biking, backpacking, and skiing, as well as spending time with his wife and two adult daughters and lifelong friends.
